You do realize the population of DPS is many times more than healers and tanks right? In all fairness, you just have to manage not standing in things to fill a dps role. The real work is for tanks and heals, they have the most on the line. Tanks need to keep aggro and rotate mitigation and, if the situation arises, do some dps too. Heals not only needs to not stand in bad but needs to make sure the tank and the party doesn't die. They have to manage mana, make split second decisions in critical situations and sometimes even do some dps on top of all of that. When people are feeling lazy, they dps. When I'm feeling lazy I dps.

I'm going to save your lives from error 2002; I use to fix computers and this is how you fix that problem; it has to do with SEs fucked up proxy congestions on their servers the main solution is flushing the DNS however its different in most cases try this and please spread the word I would make a YouTube video but I don't have a decent cam FFXIV gil recorder but here's what you do. Go to the "Run" program and type cmd and select enter; if you don't know what this is it is the command prompt that you can manually tell a computer what to do, typically the harddrive but it also works with your proxy; type /ipconfig/release - this will cut your internet connection then type /ipconfig/renew this will renew your proxy and flush your DNS all in one go. Especially in more difficult content, the time in between pulls is needed to restore resources.
The reason chain pulling is done is WoW in because healers barely use mana there, and because tanks can essentially solo dungeons on their own. Any tank trying to apply that to this game doesn't know how to tank properly.

Wow it was a textbook tactic, I thought i was the only one who did it because this was my first MMO too and i've been doing it for as long as i can remember.

The issue is not being able to cheap ffxiv gil see your party's TP. Nothing else is holding us Tanks back except that.

The other point here is if you are going to chain pull, and your healer has plenty of mana, then why are you not just pulling 2 groups immediately and getting the most out of your aoe?
Also the new dungeons are set up mostly to stop this.

So yes this isn't WoW and those are the reasons.

The old beast tribe quests before ixal for FFXIV

    I really think its about time the daily limiter was removed for the 4 old beast tribes (but kept for ixal), as I am never gonna do these while I need these limited dailys for oaknots for making my artisan off hands and such.

    I do want to do these quests for the lore and cutscenes more than the mounts and titles. But alas it is not worth the time and limiters that could be spent getting oaknots.
