You will get them during the early access period.  When you get the code to activate your copy of stormblood, it will register as a collectors edition, and the items will be mailed to you next time you log in game. I didn't pre-order the collector's edition, only the standard version of the expansion (the $40 version on PSN) and it supposedly comes with the minion and earrings.Which come out when the game is released. So when you get EA access, you likely will have the stuff then, not now.  how about the dynamic theme? i preordered mine waaaaaay back in december when they announced rdm, means i wont be getting my dynamic theme then?

Raey Oh man I forgot about that! I don't have it either but should have gotten it! Too much I'm going for standard I had a few times when I was able to pre order it for the past couple of months. And I'm glad I didn't cause I needed the money for important things. Bit I'll just stick with the digital standard edition on Playstation Store cause the game itself is all that matter I can get the collector's in a few years when it's like 40 bucks luckly on Ebay. But in happy I'm getting it . A Realm Reborn and Heavenward are good games and glad I finished them now time for storm blood. FFXIV Stormblood

My guess is since they specifically stated that EU players may have high pings on NA servers that it is at least middle if not west coast. If it were on the east coast. I believe it was stated years ago to be on the east coast right now and EU players have no issues so it would have to be further west. I don't even care about the loss of time. Only hyped for the expansion and hopefully we will log on and play with no issues. Save to say we probably will. Thanks square. Least it's before Stormblood. My previous sub for march was practically wasted with so much maintenances on the days that I actually play. Sad times. Stopped subbing gonna wait for the expansion pack ;-;  I'm happy for the people who are gonna have a better game experience because of this. I dont understand why the non EU servers are down. I guess for maintenance, but why 24 hour? They only do 24 hour maintenance before expansion launch or a large patch. Well depends, if they are relocating the server further away from you, it will probably augment your latency to the game servers... It should be an improvement for all Americans. Not only closer, but we don't have to deal with Level 3's incompetency. Yeah yoshida already said some people may see a rise in Ms but nothing over 200 so the game should be fine for everyone in n/a esp the south and south west. Depends on your definition of "unplayable". It seems like people living in the south of the US get a little over 100ms right now, and that's definitely playable. Yoshi-P said the ms should be able to get to about 220 before being negatively affected. Even so, AU players can get to about 300-350ms and have minimal issues playing the game. Yeah I read the thing about 200-220ms, I reckon I'm just overthinking it since there's alot at stake in the worst case scenario, I don't know much about the ping / distance relationship but I'd imagine a drastic move from one coast to the other would have just as bad effects on EU ping..

FFXIV is more appealing to casual players

At least, in my opinion. Dunno how many others may agree with that assessment. Yes you can.I always cite this game because it was a prime example of what an MMO can be with a bit of creativity: Guild Wars. The original, not the abomination that was Guild Wars 2.Guild Wars had grind in it, yes, but it wasn't a necessity to enjoy any of the content in the game. You had a max level of 20 and once you reached it, that was all you needed. Basic level 20 gear was the same as the gear you had to grind MONTHS to get.

Make that cool armor hard to obtain. Not because it was better, but because it gave you BRAGGING RIGHTS. Rather than unlocking skills through leveling you could do other activities to earn them; PvP, grinding skill points, or even going out and finding the skill on a boss enemy, then stealing it. Appeal to people's desires rather than exploiting them. FFXIV Gil Make it accessible to both casual and hardcore players. In its current state I'd say FFXIV is more appealing to casual players. What with the weekly limits. It's a cheap way to extend play time. Increasing ilvls to make players constantly feel burdened with the necessity of grinding to enjoy all of the content (such as raids or primals) instead of making the players feel as though they are doing it by choice.

That's why Warcraft is the blueprint/staple for modern mmos, And by the way, don't take my complaints as a way of me saying I DISLIKE the game.  I definetly agree, this game hasn't evolved at all with HW. New content has been done exactly same as the old with just a new skin over it, I wouldn't call it evolving. Stormblood and both are DPS roles

There are only two confirmed jobs slated for Stormblood and both are DPS roles. So the girl at the start that was going toe-to-toe with the monk wasn't a dancer? No....the girl at the start going toe-to-toewith a Monk was...a Monk, bruh Yoshi actually answered why there wasn't a 3rd job. according to him 3 jobs got really tough to balance, he used astro as a example.But why 2 more dps? But the reason for more DPS is likely because parties have more than 1 DPS. Yet with this expansion there will be an almost 4:1 ratio for DPS vs healers and tanks. 11 dps for only 3 tank/healer classes.

 I would have participated in the art contest if it wasn't open for like 5 countries in total. At a European fan fest. Which has over 50 countries.  Is it possible to get the wind-up FFX characters and FFX attires in the Mog Station if you can't get it from the fan festivals? Just pay for the live stream you get them from that as well..  Really hope there's another job reveal. Highly likely to be one I think it says over on the stormblood site new jobs, the plural gives me hope.  New gathering or crafting jobs could be it too. I'm still holdin out hope that Spiderman T-shirt was a hint at a new Photographer DoL class to go with the swimming. It's not that I don't trust you guys or anything. You have been doing a pretty good job overall. Maybe a few issues here and there but there is a lot of hope for a long lasting run. Still going to be keeping my eye on you guys till the Poharan pet comes. Fix the stability of your shitty client, revise your inventory / auction house management, revise botting issues, revise your pvp system where a hm10 and a lvl 30 player can fight eachother for some reason (higher level means an objectively better due to more skill points)

 just delete 32 bit this trash cannot run on a 32 bit machine specially since i have 100 mbps internet speed yet your support says my isp is basically crap because i get the disconnected error at loading screens. Just tossing it in here, mainly 64bit client just means less ram usage and thats kinda pretty much it, so if you have issues with game takeing too much ram currently then yeah it might help you a bit. Even though I have to redownload it but its going to be worth it :D No more long ass delays. Everything will be boot up; can Wednesday hurry up already .

just wanted to say thank you to the great team and all the hard work they do to bring us this fantastic game, BnS TV, and all the videos i loved the artist that day doing illustrations and ofcorse our Mod ~ cheap Blade and Soul Gold ShenXIII Yehara server. How come after the update I cannot Play anymore B&S? my Launcher just update the Game guard and then the game should be loading after that. But it is not so SAD..please help. Now remove gameguard and we will be happy 5ever.  Yh gameguard is weak anyway anyone can bypass it . All it does is worsen the game's perfomance so they need to remove it and find a good replacement. Gameguard will not be present in 64 bit as i have heard. It will. Nodah said it still there on his steam, and Jonathan confirmed on Twitter .  they need gameguard to keep player from playing with mod which is less money for them. actually gameguard not very useful for bot tho. the depth of lore in FFXI was nuts

God rdm/nin solo sky gods for fun. Solo hard bcnm , ksnms for fun too. Loved soloing in sky on rdm. "kids these days" not knowing about <not that long ago>... *Boots up FF. I liked playing RDM/DRK so much I just leveled DRK for M Kris zerging lol.  I want a career RDM, but I can relate to a lot of those. The feels. Just to cap it all off properly: Hyabusa originally Diabolos Server 99 RDM, BLM, DRK, COR, NIN, THF, BST. Xavier Halcyon Agreed. XI in its prime was an amazing game and it actually took skill, work, and lots of time to achieve things. I love XIV, but XI was pure magic back in the day.

 I'm just thinking about the gear sets for just WHM that I had.. that I do miss. Loved the ultra customization and specific rotations that could make or break you in XI.  I remember changing gear sets just to cast protect in Dynamis. And all the spells!! Then mages had atleast 100 spells in their arsenal. Now, in XIV, we get about 25, Cheap FFXIV Gil though to be fair, 14 is just beginning. Excited to see where things go from here. Nostalgia also plays a big role. I love the game but realistically it wont feel the same playing it today. Back then i didnt call dynamis, sky, etc raids and end game, i just knew them as their name. Youd play with the same people, now you queue up in a system, so you'd get attached that way.

I mean me and one of my best friends to this day remember our first day in Vanadiel, him yelling for a cure because the the bee outside of windurst was too tough for us and i was already running for my life to zone back into windurst... lol. My 4 mains in 11 where RDM, BRD, WAR & THF in 11. And made it easier for me to keep my exp capped and my merits maxed out fast. RDM and BRD where the most depended on support jobs in 11 before 80 cap launched. I pulled with both in merit parties and in endgame.Watching Avesta videos always gave me chills @_@ I was so jealous and inspired. Ff11 took true skill, redmage was an amazing job.

And don't forget Zerg burns we where the drumbeat that kept everything going. But 14 has no support mechanic. Omg i miss that game soo bad. A real MMO when the game use to be soooo hard. Before power leveling and all the easy missions. Yeah the depth of lore in FFXI was nuts. Or how way too op they were, almost broken.Till BRD came. Then we were unemployed for a hot min. Yep Rdm FFXI since 2001 before they nurfed it. Those were the days allright. It was fun to tank HNM Kings when it was the huge hype and you get like 60-70 "...examines you." hehe!
