farming for souls in Dark souls

Ended up quitting XIV after about a year as I couldn't keep up with the time demand. Played XI for about 7 years with small breaks from when I was 11 years old, and it's still my favorite game and near and dear to my heart. Neat to see a collaboration between the two. I miss XI. The old XI.Not whatever the hell XI is now, Buy Cheap FFXIV Gils it isn't what it was when i started in 2005.

Daniel Speight , I love both games, but I agree with you. FFXI's community it was a lot easier to form bonds with people. Ppl in ffxi became your real friends. Linkshell banter flowed on a more consistent basis than XIV. I'm an extrovert so I'll make friends easy in either game, but FFXI definitely wins in the community category. Sooo much more to elaborate on, but I'll leave it at that.

 If by "killed it", FFXIV Gils you mean "made it more efficient and saved you from having to wait for parties for six hours", then yes.  I played XI and yes sometimes it took hours to get into a group . Don't get me wrong, visually, XIV is above and beyond anything else ever released MMO wise, there's just more to it than that. Never took me 6 hours to find a party, if you made friends and had a good Linkshell, which I did, it took very little time. Everybody helped each other. i disliked FFXI for few reasons the deleveling BS when you died and had less than 10% of your base exp (you lost 10% of your base exp towards next level when u die) you deleveled which made it a pain and the fact you really couldnt tell which Mobs were high level or not , besides that and right b4 ARR came out i started playing XI again man its even worse finding Valkrum groups aka my char is only lvl 30 RDM with a lvl 15 WHM subclass !!! now its not newbie friendly at all sadly that and making gil in that game is as bad as farming for souls in Dark souls !!!! in short XI used to be slightly fun and really freaking challenging, now its less fun and even harder to do things solo or try and find a party in !!! FFXIV ARR is alot more fun and its balanced enough for everyone to enjoy themselves , excluding the damn gil spammers (had to turn off /tell alert sound and put it in its own chat tab to fully mute them)
