how to train Eos's skills

If Eos's skills didn't have such long CD's she might be more helpful but in comparison to Selene whose skills have a 60 second CD, last for 30 seconds each and cannot stack you can pretty much buy FFXIV Gil let her do her own thing. Using Selene means giving the party a DPS boost (dependent on class/job) once every 30 seconds, for 30 seconds. Which is probably more useful than Eos with her 20 seconds of a defense buffs that are only useful for a certain window of time when raiding/doing ex trials and can pull hate off a tank if cast incorrectly.

Ignore them. If DPS is ass(as usual), who are they to tell you how to play your class FFXIV Gil? If DPS is fine and the fight/dungeon isn't heal heavy use Selene. There is no point to Eos if no one is taking damage.

 I prefer to use Selene in the general sense because she's really the only way you can get AoE Skill Speed+ or Spell Speed+. Eos is great, yes, but she only buffs you, not anyone else. Tell them stfu and do more dps instead of typing "use selene".

I do understand that Selene can be helpful at times, but other times she really isn't. I've never had any dps issues and when raiding the dps do just fine. It's just that sometimes people complain that they could have killed *insert boss* a little faster if I had Selene. Imo if the increased speed doesn't make that big of a difference and the deeps are good then why bother? Idk I guess it's just my preference to heal better. Besides I know how to use Eos properly with stealing hate.
