Problem is that poeple look at other players gear to much. It's hard to be rich with let's say 450 AP, without spending real money on the game, but that's the reallity of an MMO. The stronger you are, more money you can get. But there are still ways to make gold, even when you're not that geared, you just need patience.
My main beef with the gear grind is that it is obviously made for whale hunting. Gear progression is attached to gold and gold sale for money is encouraged.Blade and Soul Gold Thus, the time spent grinding must be really entertaining as the progression itself is meaningless because anyone can just open their wallets to reach the same point as you. If the gear grind was instead attached to items that could only be obtained through dungeons (and not gold) it would feel so much rewarding.

Honestly I'm surprised this game is still running. Gj Ncsoft for ruining a good game. what time will they start server maintenance for the update tomorrow? (uk here), 1.8k signatures from petition are pretty impressive " - Omeed 9 months later....with total of 15k signatures. Can you fix all the bugs like cut scenes turning off the game! The game is for full time players only. Whats the point of doing same thing everyday just to level up? Where is the fun? The only players that enjoying this insane game is pay2win players. No place for normal players to this game :) Ps: this game is full of BOTS who just make money to sell to p2win players.
